2- you can't change file extension in mobile. You need to use a PC. if you can't change/see file extension in PC try these methods :
-Displaying the File Extension in Windows Vista and Windows 7/8

1. Launch Control Panel. In Windows 8 / 8.1, you can get by hitting Windows + X and selecting from the menu that appears.

Samsung and LG smartwatches aren’t really keeping your data secure

Samsung and LG smartwatches aren’t really keeping your data secure

Researchers based at the University of New Haven have demonstrated how a user’s personal information can be extracted from the Gear 2 Neo by Samsung and LG’s G Watch. From the Gear 2 Neo the researchers were able to extract email, messages, health and contacts data, none of which was encrypted on the smartwatch.
Director of the university’s Cyber Forensics Research and Education Group Ibrahim Baggili said that it wasn’t very difficult to obtain the data from these smartwatches, “but expertise and research was required.” Baggili plans to present the team’s findings along with co-authors Jeff Oduru, Frank Breitinger, Glenn McGee and Kyle Anthony at a digital forensics conference in August. They were able to extract data from the smartwatches by going through the watches’ files and locating traces of watch activity on the Android powered Samsung smartphone that they were linked to.
With smartwatches increasingly becoming popular one would think that the companies making them would take extra care to ensure that users’ data remained safe even if they were to lose their smartwatch. In a statement provided to CNET, Samsung said that it “takes consumer privacy and security very seriously and our products are designed with privacy in mind. If at any time we identify a potential vulnerability, we act promptly to investigate and resolve the issue.” Though Baggili has a few words of wisdom for people who wear smartwatches, he says don’t forget your smartwatch the next time you are taking a shower at the gym, your data is not as safe as you might think. Samsung launches first Mirror and Transparent OLED panels

Samsung launches first Mirror and Transparent OLED panels

At the Retail Asia Expo 2015 in Hong Kong, Samsung unveiled the industry’s first Mirror and Transparent OLED display panels in a showcase for informational browsing and personalized shopping. The exhibition is a proof of concept from Samsung which shows just how these products can be used in consumer electronic devices as it demonstrates the first retail use of advanced commercial OLED panels. The new Samsung Display OLED panel is integrated with Intel RealSense technology which allows it to create solutions like an interactive closet or a “self-modeling” wardrobe which lets users virtually “see” how clothes or other items would fit them.
The Samsung Mirror Display might replace conventional home mirrors at some point in the future, it will basically provide digital information services to users in the same space where they just have the mirror right now. The company says that its Mirror OLED panel will deliver at least 50 percent higher reflectance that competitive Mirror LCDs as well as significantly improved color gamut and exceptionally high contrast ratio. Moreover Samsung’s new mirror display technology does not require ambient backlight to display on-screen images. It hasn’t been revealed so far if these new technologies will soon be making their way into a consumer electronic device, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see some companies leverage these new OLED panels in their new products in the future.
